Advanced Film Division
IRC Advanced Film Division is located in Corpus Christi, Texas, USA. The division was opened in 1975 and acquired by the TT Group PLC (now TT electronics, plc) in 1990.

The Company specializes in the application of various resistor film systems to substrate material to form resistors, sensors and other resistive type devices. There are three basic film systems utilized, each serving specific markets with unique desirable characteristics.

Wire & Film Technology Division
IRC WAFT has been an innovative leader in the design, development and manufacture of resistive components for more than 70 years. IRC is known as a new products innovator and a worldwide quality supplier with focus on resistor application solutions.

IRC WAFT operates manufacturing facilities in North Carolina (Boone and Smithfield) and Barbados to produce power and precision military wirewound resistors; high volume general purpose; high reliability extremely stable thick film cylindrical surface mount and leaded devices. IRC is recognized as a major innovator for custom designed special resistive products for automotive telecommunications applications.
