KEMET
introduces RoHS Compliant Radial Tantalum Capacitors!
Today
KEMET is releasing its first RoHS compliant/Pb-Free Radial
Dipped Ta (RDT) product offerings. Included in this initial
release are the T35x, T368, and T39x Series. KEMET is the
second Ta manufacturer to announce the release of a RoHS
compliant/Pb-Free offering for RDT products and is the only
manufacturer to offer both SnPb and Pb-Free termination
options. KEMET has received numerous requests from Distributors
for such a product offering and is expecting immediate demand
for this new option.
Ordering
of RoHS compliant RDT products will simply require the replacement
of the "S" suffix with a "T" suffix
in the 14th character of the part numbering system. The
"S" suffix will at no time mean Pb-Free and the
"T" suffix will always refer to RoHS compliant/Pb-Free
products.
The
T110, T140, T322, and T340 RoHS compliant/Pb-Free products
are scheduled for release by September 30th, 2005. Refer
to the KEMET Green Roadmap for further details.
