The Mini Buccaneer continues to build on the reputation established by the Standard Buccaneer. Mini Buccaneer is dust and waterproof to IP68 and addresses the need for a smaller connector.

With a maximum voltage rating of 380V ac, current carrying capacity up to 10A, and available from 2 to 8 poles, the Mini Buccaneer offers performance similar the Standard Buccaneer but in a smaller package.

Although more compact than the Standard Buccaneer the Mini still boasts screw, crimp and solder contact versions together with BNC inserts. Its modular construction means that the connectors can be configured quickly and easily without the need for special tooling.

These screw terminal contact carriers snap into the existing five body styles for the range. The standard Mini Buccaneer body styles with which they are compatible allow the product to be cable mounted, connected in-line, chassis/panel mounted and right angle chassis/panel mounted.

Because the contact carriers are screw termination type, they are particularly suitable for applications that demand ease of termination in the field. Safer connection and disconnection is afforded by the inclusion of a leading earth contact.

The screw terminal carriers are available in 3-, 4- and 6-way plug and socket versions. The 3- pole version is rated at 10A, 250V, the 4-pole version is rated at 6A, 250V and the 6-pole version is rated at 3A, 250V. Like their other family members, the carriers are molded in UL94-V0 material.
