Micro-Con-X® is lighting up the Pool!

In Europe the Micro-Con-X® is lighting up the pool! Using LED light technology and Conxall connectors a company in Europe is providing lighting systems for commercial and private pools. These are standard systems created by our customer, that the consumer installs themselves. The environmental integrity of this product make it an obvious choice for this application, but Conxall’s Micro-Con-X® was ultimately selected for use in this application because of their ease of use.
Mil-E-Qual® Shines Bright in Cold Cathode Lighting Systems
Cold cathode lighting systems are the opposite of fluorescent lighting systems, they run cold instead of hot. They are a higher current than neon, provide a higher lumen output and last up 50,000 hours without using a ballast. They are great for many decorating applications as they come in colors, are bendable and lend themselves to creative lighting techniques. Our customer needed a specialized connector with ½” spacing between contacts and wanted us to color match the connector to his cable. We were able to do this with a modified Mil-E-Qual® connector assembly. We now ship panel mounts with caps and single and double ended custom cable assemblies to meet this customer’s application needs. They recently passed UL with their new product and have begun taking shipments of product. As an added bonus this provided the incentive for us to get the UL recognition that was mentioned above!
Outdoor Landscape Lighting Enhanced by Mega-Con-X®
We worked with a manufacturer of outdoor landscape lighting on a special version of two cable assemblies using an insert molded out of 130ºC nylon resin and the cable over-molded in 150ºC nylon resin to resist heat and humidity. We were able to mold these modified Mega-Con-X® cable assemblies to provide the customer with a protected cable solution. This manufacturer’s products are used to light trees, paths, throw spotlights and wash walls with lighting.
Nano-Mizer® Is Cashing In At The Casino!

The giant LED lighting displays that can be seen at most major casinos are powered by the Nano-Mizer® cable assemblies. As you can see in the picture to the left, hundreds of Nano-Mizer® cable assemblies link up to each row of lights to provide power to make the huge displays like those on the right. A shining example of great lighting!
Con-X Molded Cables Inform Us All!

A manufacturer of LED light displays is using custom Mini-Con-X® and Maxi-Con-X® molded cable assemblies to power the lights on their message board signs. These displays can be seen over roadways and at local convenience stores. The molded cables attach to each of the light assemblies to power the displays. Since most of these displays are outdoors it’s critical to make sure that the connection points are sealed for the electrical connections.
