Model SLA245M
The SLA245M photovoltaic module originates from
several years of research dedicated to developing a
module with a compact size, capable of supplying a
higher power output. In this direction Silfab introduced
the use of 3 busbars solar cells, that allows
performance enhancement, reducing the ohmic
losses of the module and increasing the supplied
power. With a power ranging of 245
Wp, SLA modules are composed of 60 high-efficiency,
serially connected monocrystalline cells. The modules
are suited for small and large grid-connected
systems and designed to operate under the toughest
environmental conditions. Built with an anodized
aluminium frame and a layer of 3.2 mm-thick tempered
glass that withstand a 25 mm hailstone travelling
at 83 km/h, SLA modules are both solid and durable.
The modules provide an optimal spectral response
and energy output even when lighting is scarse. The
long term reliability, durability, and quality of each
cell and module have been fully tested during every
phase of the manufacturing process.
