DESCRIPTION

The D38999/26WC35SN is a circular plug connector from the MIL-DTL-38999 Series III family, designed for high-performance use in severe environments. It features a self-locking, one-turn coupling system with acme threads for durability and resistance to cross-threading. Constructed with an aluminum shell and an olive drab cadmium finish over an electroless nickel base, this Class W connector provides 500-hour salt spray corrosion resistance. It is configured with the C35 insert arrangement, providing 22 size 22D socket contacts with a Service M rating, suitable for a test voltage of 1300 V RMS at sea level. This scoop-proof plug is rated for a minimum of 500 mating cycles and operates in temperatures from -65°C to +175°C. Its robust design, including RFI/EMI shielding and resistance to shock and vibration, makes it ideal for military and aerospace applications.
