DESCRIPTION

The 9983-RED-1000 is a UL AWM Style 1061 hook-up/lead wire designed for the internal wiring of electronic equipment. It is constructed with a single 22 AWG stranded (7x30) tinned copper conductor for good conductivity and corrosion resistance. The conductor is insulated with a semi-rigid, red Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) jacket with a nominal wall thickness of 0.010 inches, resulting in an overall nominal diameter of 0.050 inches. This wire is rated by both UL and CSA for 300V RMS and 80°C operation. Compliant with RoHS and passing VW-1 and FT1 flame tests, it is a reliable choice for general-purpose internal wiring applications.
