DESCRIPTION

The 1-140 is a single-terminal barrier block designed to interpose barriers between terminals, yielding higher electrical ratings and providing additional protection against frayed wire shorting. It features a molded monoblock construction with general purpose phenolic insulation (UL Rated 94V-1), brass eyelets with nickel plating, and nickel-plated steel screws. The device is rated for 250 VAC RMS maximum voltage, 15 Amps maximum current, and 3750 watts per terminal, with a maximum wire size of #16 AWG. Operating temperature range is -55°F to +300°F, and the unit is UL Recognized (File E61245) and CSA certified (LR 67357). This barrier block is ideal for applications requiring electrical isolation, terminal protection, and reliable wire termination in commercial and industrial equipment.
