DESCRIPTION

BK/GFA-5 is a sub-miniature PC board fuse with axial leads designed for circuit protection in subminiature devices. It is rated for 5 amperes at 125 volts AC with a non-time-delay characteristic and an interrupting rating of 50 AIC. The fuse features a glass tube construction with tinned wire leads that solder directly into circuits, dimensions of 0.145" × 0.300" (3.7 mm × 7.6 mm), and color-coded ends (brown and black) for easy identification. It withstands high-shock and vibration environments and meets UL and CSA agency approvals. The axial leads (1½" length) can be fed through wire-forming machines for automated assembly, making it ideal for high-density printed circuit board applications requiring reliable overcurrent protection.
