DESCRIPTION

The BK/MDL-5 is a 5-ampere, 1/4" × 1 1/4" time-delay glass tube fuse manufactured by Cooper Bussmann for protecting circuits in appliances and consumer electronics. As a time-delay fuse, it provides protection against sustained overcurrent while tolerating brief inrush currents common in inductive loads, making it ideal for equipment with motors or transformers. The fuse is available in multiple packaging options including poly bag, blister pack, and tri-lingual blister formats.
