DESCRIPTION

CME is a high-power modular output module designed for the Advanced Energy CoolX1000 fanless 1000 W intelligent power supply system. Operating at a nominal voltage of 24 V with a maximum current of 25 A, the CME delivers 600 W of output power and occupies three module slots within the CoolPac chassis. The module features tight voltage regulation with ±0.5% line regulation and ±3.5% load regulation, along with comprehensive protection including tracking overvoltage protection (102–130% of output), hiccup overcurrent and short-circuit protection, and autorecovery overtemperature protection. The CME supports remote voltage sensing with up to 0.5 VDC cable drop compensation and offers fast transient response with settling times of 1000 µs for 25–75% load changes at 0.5 A/µs slew rate. This module is ideal for applications requiring high power density in compact, fanless designs, particularly in medical, scientific, and vibration-sensitive environments where acoustic noise and cooling constraints are critical concerns.
