DESCRIPTION

The 63-0000-4662 is a flux thinner formulated by Kester to reduce the viscosity and solids content of soldering fluxes for optimal application in spray, wave, and foam soldering processes. This thinner is specifically recommended for use with no-clean fluxes such as 985M and 959T, as well as water-soluble fluxes including 2235, 2331-ZX, and 2120, enabling consistent flux delivery and improved process control. The product is supplied in 1-gallon packaging and is essential for maintaining proper flux concentration and ensuring uniform soldering results across high-volume electronics assembly operations. By adjusting flux viscosity, this thinner helps achieve better hole fill on thick boards, reduces bridging and micro-soldering defects, and maintains consistent residue levels after soldering.
