DESCRIPTION
KG313A2XXA21XX is a power rocker switch from the KG series designed for industrial panel-mount applications with sealed, protected construction. The switch features IP65 degree of protection per IEC 60529, with optional illumination (LED or filament lamps at 6V, 12V, or 24V), and is constructed with a thermoplastic UL94-V0 case, silver-plated brass terminals, and silver grain contacts. It supports multiple electrical functions with current ratings up to 15 A at 12 VDC or 10 A at 24 VDC, an initial contact resistance of 10 mO maximum, and dielectric strength of 2,000 Vrms at 50 Hz. The switch demonstrates robust environmental performance with shock resistance of 100 g, vibration resistance of 10–500 Hz at 10 g, and salt spray resistance of 96 hours, with operating temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C for 2-position models. Its sealed design and high electrical/mechanical life (10,000 electrical cycles minimum, 100,000 mechanical cycles for 2-position models) make it suitable for demanding industrial control panels, marine equipment, and harsh-environment applications.
