DESCRIPTION

MF-R040 is a PTC resettable fuse designed for low-voltage power supply protection in electronic circuits. It features a maximum voltage rating of 60 V and maximum current rating of 40 A, with a hold current (Ihold) of 0.40 A and trip current (Itrip) of 0.80 A at 23°C. The device has an initial resistance of 0.86 O and a post-trip resistance of 1.29 O maximum, with a maximum time to trip of 3.8 seconds. The component is housed in a radial leaded package with Sn/CuFe lead material and meets UL 94V-0 flame retardant requirements, is RoHS compliant, and halogen-free. It is commonly used in computers, peripherals, and general electronics applications where automatic circuit protection and resettability are required.
