DESCRIPTION
The 1516W is a Series 1500 wire clamp terminal block featuring a captivated No. 6-32 plated steel screw that eliminates the need for separate lugs. It accommodates wire sizes up to No. 12 AWG and supports 1 to 22 terminals with a center-to-center spacing of 0.375" (9.52 mm). The housing is constructed from PolyPhenylene Oxide with a UL 94V-0 flammability rating, providing self-extinguishing protection and resistance to breakage. Electrical ratings include UL 20 amps at 150V–300V (depending on application) and CSA 15 amps at 300V, with a tightening torque specification of 12 in.-lbs. for the wire clamp and binding screw. This terminal block is ideal for surface mount, sub-panel, and chassis connections in electronic and electrical circuit applications where economical, flexible termination is required.
