DESCRIPTION

The 24-6040-9710 is a flux-cored solder wire featuring Kester 44, a high-activity activated rosin (RA) flux. This wire, with its Sn60Pb40 alloy, is designed for fast and reliable production line soldering, exhibiting "instant-action" wetting and high mobility. Classified as ROM1 per J-STD-004, the flux passes Surface Insulation Resistance (SIR) testing under both 85°C/85% RH and 40°C/90% RH conditions. The flux residues are non-corrosive and non-conductive, and for most applications, do not require removal. This solder wire is ideal for a wide range of electronic soldering applications where performance and reliability are crucial.
