DESCRIPTION

The MCG-1/2 is a shielded, standard brass cable gland designed to provide strain relief and a watertight seal for round cables. It features 1/2" NPT threads and accommodates a cable diameter range of 5 to 13 mm. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a polyamide insert and neoprene seal, it is UL Recognized and provides an IP68-rated seal, which is comparable to NEMA 6P. Key dimensions include a 10 mm thread length and 24 mm wrench flats, requiring a 21.0 mm mounting hole clearance. This cable gland is easy to use and provides a reliable solution for grounding shielded cables in demanding environments.
