DESCRIPTION

1571651-5 is an HD-20 Solder Cup Shielding Hardware plug connector kit designed for subminiature D-type cable assemblies with 15 contact positions (Shell Size 2). The kit features a steel shell with tin or zinc plating, a 94V-0 rated thermoplastic black insert, and phosphor bronze contacts with duplex plating (gold flash on mating end, tin on solder cup, nickel underplated). The connector accommodates cable insulation diameters ranging from 0.217 to 0.385 inches (5.51 to 9.78 mm) and has a maximum cable outer diameter of 0.355 inches (9.02 mm). This kit is ideal for industrial and aerospace applications requiring reliable shielded cable connections with crimp termination and clinch nut mounting options.
