DESCRIPTION

179840-1 is a Power Double Lock (PDL) vertical PC board mount tab header connector designed for wire-to-board applications. This connector features 4 circuits arranged in 2 rows with a 3.96 mm centerline spacing. The housing is constructed from UL 94V-0 rated glass-filled 6/6 Nylon, while the contacts are made of copper alloy with tin plating. The natural color variant is RoHS compliant and is designed for use with an applicable board thickness of 1.6 mm. This connector is commonly used in electronic assemblies requiring reliable wire-to-board connections with secure double lock retention.
