DESCRIPTION

The 2335890-4 is an AMPLIMITE Size 4 receptacle D-subminiature connector featuring a passivated stainless steel shell and 37 contact positions, designed to meet MIL-DTL-24308 performance requirements. This connector eliminates the use of toxic cadmium platings while providing up to 500 hours of salt spray resistance, making it ideal for demanding aerospace, defense, and marine applications where corrosion resistance is critical. The stainless steel housing is rugged and versatile, available with standard 20 AWG or higher-density 22 AWG crimp contacts to accommodate various wiring requirements. Its corrosion-resistant design and robust construction make it suitable for harsh environments including coastal, subsea, and high-vibration applications where long-term reliability and minimal maintenance are essential.
