DESCRIPTION

The 5745054-4 is an AMPLIMITE HD-20 subminiature D-connector receptacle featuring 25 contact positions in a straight posted configuration designed for printed circuit board mounting. This all-plastic receptacle is available with multiple mounting options including standard mounting holes, 4-40 threaded inserts, and fixed female screwlocks, accommodating various PCB thicknesses from 0.062 to 0.125 inches. The connector features phosphor bronze contacts with duplex plating (gold flash on mating end and tin on termination end) with a minimum 0.000050 inch nickel underplate, ensuring reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance. The post length is selectable at 0.125 inches (3.18 mm) for standard PCB thickness or 0.170 inches (4.32 mm) for thicker boards. This connector is widely used in industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and data acquisition applications where compact, high-density interconnections are required.
