DESCRIPTION

The 102972-3 is a 3-position single-row unshrouded breakaway header connector designed for wire-to-board applications in personal computer systems. It features 0.100 inch [2.54 mm] center spacing with 0.025 inch [0.64 mm] square copper alloy posts plated with tin or gold over nickel. The header housing is constructed from polyester material rated 94V-0 for flame resistance, and the posts are tin-plated (plating code B) with a minimum gold thickness of 0.000030 inch [0.00075 mm] over nickel. This connector is part of the AMPMODU breakaway header family and is compatible with standard wire-to-board interconnection systems. The stackable design and slotted contacts support efficient assembly and reliable electrical connections in computer peripheral and personal systems applications.
