DESCRIPTION

1-1971775-4 is a panel mount connector cap housing for the TE Connectivity POWER TRIPLE LOCK connector system, designed for reliable power and signal applications. This cap housing features 8 positions arranged in a 2x4 configuration with a 6.0 mm centerline pitch, supporting standard temperature operation up to 105°C. The housing is constructed from thermoplastic material meeting glow wire test requirements per IEC 60335-1 and is available in natural color. The connector system incorporates three enhanced locking methods—cap and plug latching, connector position assurance (CPA) device, and terminal position assurance (TPA) device—ensuring secure connections and proper terminal seating. This component is ideal for applications requiring robust, multi-position power distribution and signal connectivity in industrial and appliance environments.
