DESCRIPTION

122561-1 is an anvil tooling fixture designed for feed-through insertion of vertical male and receptacle connectors in AMP Z-PACK 2mm CompactPCI connector assemblies. This tooling component is used in conjunction with pneumatic and hydraulic seating machines such as the SM-3 (26,700 N capacity) and SM-10/20 (selectable 89,000 N or 178,000 N force capability) to enable efficient connector insertion and seating on printed circuit boards. The anvil provides the necessary support and alignment for multiple connector types, including A, B19, and B22 type vertical male connectors as well as receptacle connectors, accommodating PC boards up to 28 inches (711 mm) wide. This tooling is essential for high and low volume production environments where consistent connector placement and proper seating force application are critical for reliable CompactPCI module assembly.
