DESCRIPTION

215460-4 is a female-on-board side entry connector from the TE Connectivity Micro-MaTch modular connector system, designed for wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections. It features a 4-position configuration with 1.27 mm (0.050 inch) contact spacing and tin-plated contacts that provide gas-tight, fretting corrosion resistant connections. The connector utilizes a unique contact spring system with an additional positioning spring that absorbs relative movements caused by vibrations and thermal expansion. This side entry through-hole connector mates with male-on-wire connectors (215083), COSI connectors (338095+338096/338097), male-on-board connectors (215464), and male SMD connectors (338728). Common applications include production and material handling equipment, control units, robots and motors, automotive systems such as car radios and navigation systems, and audio equipment.
