DESCRIPTION

The 2154828-3 is a high-power inverted thru-board surface mount technology (SMT) connector designed to bring power to LED aluminum clad boards from the underside of the printed circuit board. This 4-position connector features Economy Power II (EP II) mating plugs with a 0.156" (3.96 mm) pitch, rated for 600 VAC at 7A continuous current, and accepts 22–18 AWG (0.34–0.75 mm²) stranded wire. The connector is constructed with UL 94 V0 rated high-temperature thermoplastic housing and tin-over-nickel plated copper alloy contacts, operating reliably from -30°C to +105°C with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 2200 VAC. Key design features include a low 2.00 mm profile top surface, positive latching EP II connectors, rounded corners to prevent shadowing, and a flat top surface for vacuum pick-up during SMT processing. This connector is ideal for indoor and outdoor solid-state lighting fixtures, lighting modules, and industrial/commercial meters and controls where reliable power delivery and compact board integration are essential.
