DESCRIPTION

The 215570-4 is a male paddle board connector from TE Connectivity's Micro-MaTch modular connector system, designed for direct soldering of ribbon cable to printed circuit boards. This 4-position connector features tin-plated contact design and incorporates a positioning spring in the female contact that absorbs relative movements caused by vibrations and thermal expansion, creating gas-tight connections that are fretting corrosion resistant. The connector operates with a contact spacing of 1.27 mm (0.050 inch centerline) and is compatible with 28 AWG ribbon cable (0.08 mm² to 0.09 mm²). The paddle board design eliminates the need for mating connectors, allowing direct soldering of the ribbon cable assembly to the PCB, making it ideal for production and material handling equipment, control units, robots, motors, automotive systems, and consumer electronics where reliable interconnection and vibration resistance are essential.
