DESCRIPTION

4-794638-6 is a double-row surface-mount header connector from TE Connectivity's Micro MATE-N-LOK 3mm connector system designed for wire-to-board connections. This header features a 2-24 position dual-row configuration on a 3.0mm centerline pitch with vertical angle orientation and SMT (surface-mount technology) compatibility. The connector supports a maximum current rating of 5 Amps per line at 250 Volts AC/DC, accommodates wire sizes from 22-18 AWG (0.3-0.9 mm²) with insulation diameters up to 2.79mm, and is available with tin or 15µm/30µm gold plating options. The header includes SMT hold-down features, metal hold-down options, and retention bumps on the solder tail for secure board mounting. This connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable, compact wire-to-board interconnections in consumer electronics, industrial equipment, and automotive systems where space efficiency and high-density connections are essential.
