DESCRIPTION

747943-1 is a subminiature D-type connector receptacle designed for use in the AMPLIMITE series, featuring a 9-position contact arrangement with shielding hardware enclosure kit. The connector shell is constructed from steel with tin plating, and the insert is made from 94V-O rated thermoplastic material. It accommodates cable outer diameters in the range of 0.190–0.330 inches (4.83–8.38 mm) with a maximum inner cable bundle diameter of 0.330 inches (8.38 mm). The contact finish is duplex plated (Plating Code A) with 0.000030 inches (0.00076 mm) gold on the mating end and tin-lead on the termination end, with nickel underplating throughout. This connector is ideal for applications requiring compact, shielded interconnections in instrumentation, data acquisition, and industrial control systems where reliable signal transmission and EMI protection are essential.
