DESCRIPTION
The 71918-106LF is a dual-row header connector featuring a 2×3 position configuration with 2.54 mm pitch spacing and standard latch retention. The connector housing is constructed from glass-filled thermoplastic (UL94V-O) in standard grey color, with phosphor bronze pins plated with lead-free matte tin (2 µm minimum) over nickel underplate (1.27 µm minimum). It provides a minimum latch retention force of 40 N at first extraction and includes a 4.5 mm solder tail for wave solder applications. The connector is RoHS compatible and designed to withstand exposure to 260°C ±5°C solder bath temperature for 5 seconds on 1.6 mm minimum thick circuit boards. This connector is commonly used in applications requiring reliable PCB interconnection with quick sampling availability and low minimum order quantities.
