DESCRIPTION
ASA01A24-M is a 6-watt isolated DC-DC converter module from Artesyn's ASA6W-M series designed for demanding instrumentation applications requiring supplementary or reinforced insulation to comply with stringent industrial and medical safety standards. The module accepts an input voltage range of 18-36V and delivers a regulated 5V output at 1A maximum, with 4000Vac reinforced isolation between input and output. It features a wide 2:1 input voltage range, fully regulated output voltage with ±1.0% tolerance, low leakage current, and operates reliably across -40°C to +75°C with derating. The compact 31.8 x 20.3 x 12mm package includes overload protection with foldback and auto-recovery, meets medical safety standards (UL/cUL/EN/IEC 60601-1 3rd Edition), and is RoHS compliant, making it ideal for medical devices, industrial control systems, and precision instrumentation where isolation and safety certification are critical requirements.
