DESCRIPTION

The 6-140-P is a 6-terminal barrier block designed to interpose barriers between terminals, yielding higher electrical ratings and providing additional protection against frayed wire shorting. Constructed with molded monoblock general-purpose phenolic insulation (UL Rated 94V-1) and brass eyelets with nickel plating, it accommodates wire sizes up to #16 AWG and is rated for 250 VAC RMS maximum voltage with a maximum current rating of 15 Amps per terminal and 3750 watts per terminal. The block features a recommended screw eyelet tightening torque of 9 lb.-in. and mounting hole tightening torque of 5 lbs.-in., with an operating temperature range of -55°F to +300°F. This barrier block is ideal for applications requiring robust terminal organization, electrical isolation, and protection in industrial control panels, distribution systems, and equipment where wire management and safety are critical.
