DESCRIPTION

The 3659/24-300 is a round shielded flat cable designed for power-limited circuit applications requiring reliable signal transmission. It features 24 conductors of 28 AWG tinned stranded copper (7 × 36 AWG) with a PVC primary insulation and black PVC jacket, protected by aluminum/polyester film foil shielding with 90% tinned copper braid coverage. The cable is mass terminatable and rated for 300V (USA: N.E.C. 725 CL2 or AWM; EU: <50V), with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +105°C (USA) and VW-1 flammability rating. Key electrical characteristics include an unbalanced characteristic impedance of 62 O, insulation resistance greater than 1 × 10¹° O per 10 ft, and a propagation delay of 1.72 ns/ft. This cable is ideal for interconnect applications in control systems, instrumentation, and data acquisition where shielding and multiple conductor paths are essential.
