DESCRIPTION
The 6A11-A0121-025.0-0 is a 3M Active Optical Cable (AOC) assembly for SFP+ applications that delivers a single bi-directional channel operating at data rates from 1 to 10.3125 Gbps per channel. The module features an 850 nm operating optical wavelength, operates at 3.3V nominal supply voltage, and consumes 240 mW typical power per end, utilizing industry-leading VCSEL technology and an advanced light engine design. It supports SFF-8431/SFF8432/SFF8472 form factors and protocols including InfiniBand, Ethernet, and Fiber Channel, with a bit error rate of less than 10?¹² and operating temperature range of 0 to +70°C. The cable supports fiber links up to 100 m with bend-insensitive fiber, hot-pluggable connectivity via 20-pin edge connector, and full diagnostic features via Serial and I2C management interfaces.
