DESCRIPTION

The 7700/50-100 is a round conductor flat controlled impedance cable from the 3M 7700 series featuring 50 conductors of 30 AWG solid tin-plated copper wire with polyolefin insulation and aluminum foil/polyester covering. The cable delivers a differential impedance of 95 ± 5 Ohms with differential insertion loss less than 3 dB/m at 2.5 GHz, making it suitable for high-speed signal transmission applications. It maintains an insulation resistance greater than 1 × 10? Ohms at 500 VDC and is rated for 30V AC with a maximum operating temperature of +80°C. The cable dimensions are 1.225 ± 0.009 inches (31.12 ± 0.23 mm) for width and 1.300 inches (33.02 mm) for height, with individual conductor pitch of 0.025 inches. This controlled impedance design is ideal for high-speed digital interconnects, differential pair signaling, and applications requiring precise impedance matching in compact form factors.
