DESCRIPTION

The SKE-15/40 is a heavy-duty heat shrink end cap designed to permanently seal and protect cable terminations. It is engineered for cables with diameters ranging from 0.59 to 1.26 inches (15.0 to 32.0 mm). When heated above its minimum shrink temperature of 121°C, the flexible flame-retardant polyolefin outer wall shrinks while the inner thermoplastic adhesive lining melts and flows, creating a permanent, water-resistant barrier. The cap operates effectively within a temperature range of -55°C to 110°C. This provides a durable, non-drying seal that bonds to a wide variety of plastics, rubbers, and metals, ensuring long-term protection in demanding environments.
