DESCRIPTION
AB-RTCMC-32.768KHZ-AIGZ-S7 is a real-time clock module with I²C bus interface featuring a built-in 32.768 kHz crystal oscillator for accurate timekeeping. The module operates over a supply voltage range of 1.3 V to 4.4 V with ultra-low standby current of 350 nA at 3 V, enabling extended battery life in portable and low-power applications. It includes comprehensive timekeeping counters for seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, year, and century, along with software clock calibration to compensate for crystal temperature deviation and automatic leap year compensation. The device features a 400 kHz I²C serial interface, programmable watchdog timer (62.5 ms to 31 min timeout), oscillator stop detection, and a programmable square wave output (1 Hz to 32.768 kHz). Housed in an ultra-compact 3.2 × 1.5 × 0.8 mm lead-free 8-pin ceramic leadless chip carrier with MSL=1 rating, this module is ideal for communication equipment, measuring instruments, and other embedded systems requiring accurate real-time clock functionality with minimal power consumption.
