DESCRIPTION
The ASFL1-12.000MHZ-EK-T is a 3.3V HCMOS/TTL compatible SMD crystal clock oscillator designed for high-density surface mount applications. It operates at a nominal frequency of 12 MHz with an overall frequency stability of ±100 ppm (standard) or ±20 ppm (tight stability option), and features a tri-state function for output control. The device operates over a temperature range of -10°C to +70°C, with a supply voltage of 2.97V to 3.63V (typical 3.3V), and delivers output current ranging from 8 mA to 28 mA depending on frequency band. The compact 5.0 × 3.2 × 1.3 mm seam-sealed package ensures high reliability and is suitable for RoHS-compliant reflow processes. Common applications include CCD clock generation for VTR cameras, PC-connected equipment, wireless communication devices, and portable electronics such as PDAs and laptop computers.
