DESCRIPTION

The DE09-SF-M2 is an IDC flat cable D-SUB socket connector featuring a metal shell with #4-40 threaded inserts designed for secure panel mounting applications. The connector is constructed with a PBT glass-reinforced insulator rated UL 94V-0, phosphor bronze contacts, and a steel shell with tin plating for durability and corrosion resistance. Electrical specifications include a maximum operating voltage of 750 VAC, a current rating of 5 Amps maximum, and a dielectric withstand voltage of 1,000 V. The connector operates reliably across a temperature range of -65°C to +125°C, with gold flash over nickel underplate plating on signal contacts and tin over copper underplate on the IDC area. This connector is ideal for industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and data acquisition applications requiring robust, high-reliability interconnections.
