DESCRIPTION

The 1553-RD001 is a single-conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical applications requiring reliable insulation and conductivity. It features a 20 AWG (10/30 stranded) tinned copper conductor with a nominal 0.016" wall PVC insulation, providing an outer diameter of 0.069" ± 0.002". The wire is rated for 1000 V RMS at 80°C and complies with MIL-W-76B specifications, with a temperature operating range of -40°C to +80°C. It exhibits a conductor DC resistance of 11.4 O/1000 ft at 20°C and a nominal inductance of 0.05 µH/ft, with a maximum pull tension of 7.9 lbs and a minimum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter. This wire is ideal for internal wiring in electronic equipment, control circuits, and general-purpose interconnections where cost-effective, reliable performance is required.
