DESCRIPTION

The 1555-YL001 is a single-conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical applications requiring reliable insulation and conductivity. It features an 18 AWG (16/30) tinned copper conductor with a nominal 0.016" wall PVC insulation, providing an overall diameter of 0.079 ± 0.002 inches. The wire is rated for 1000 V RMS and operates across a temperature range of -40°C to 80°C, with a maximum pull tension of 12.6 lbs and a minimum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter. Electrical characteristics include a nominal inductance of 0.05 µH/ft and a conductor DC resistance of 7.1 O/1000 ft at 20°C. This wire is ideal for laboratory, prototyping, and general wiring applications where flexibility and ease of use are important, and it complies with MIL-W-76B specifications and RoHS directives.
