DESCRIPTION

The 1891C-SL005 is a two-conductor control cable featuring 14 AWG tinned copper conductors with individual PVC insulation (0.020" wall) and an overall PVC jacket (0.020" wall, 0.260" diameter). The cable is constructed with 2 components cabled at 3.7 twists per foot minimum and is color-coded with black and red conductors per Alpha Wire Color Code D. It is rated for 300V RMS at 75°C and complies with UL Type CL2 or C(RU) AWM standards at 80°C for 300V FT1 applications. The cable exhibits a characteristic impedance of 60O, capacitance of 36 pF/ft at 1 kHz, and a conductor DC resistance of 2.8O/1000ft at 20°C, making it suitable for low-voltage control, instrumentation, and signal transmission applications requiring reliable performance across a temperature range of -20°C to 80°C.
