DESCRIPTION

The 2422C-SL005 is a two-conductor shielded cable assembly designed for low-voltage control and signal transmission applications. It features 18 AWG (16/30) tinned copper conductors with 0.016" FRPE insulation, an aluminum/mylar tape shield with 25% overlap and 20 AWG tinned copper drain wire, and a 0.020" PVC jacket in slate color. The cable is rated for 300V RMS at 75°C and meets UL AWM/STYLE 2092, CMG, and CSA C(UL) TYPE CMG FT4 standards. Key electrical characteristics include a characteristic impedance of 54O, capacitance of 31 pF/ft, and conductor DC resistance of 7O/1000ft at 20°C. The cable operates over a temperature range of -20°C to +75°C with a minimum bend radius of 10X cable diameter and maximum pull tension of 33 lbs. This shielded construction makes it ideal for applications requiring EMI protection in industrial control systems, instrumentation, and audio/video signal transmission.
