DESCRIPTION

The 3048-WH005 is a single-conductor hookup wire featuring 28 AWG (7/36) tinned copper conductor with 0.016" nominal PVC insulation wall thickness, designed for general-purpose electrical interconnections. It meets UL AWM/STYLE 1007 (80°C/300V RMS) and AWM/STYLE 1569 (105°C/300V RMS) standards, as well as CSA International TR-64 (90°C) and FT1 flame test requirements. The wire operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C with a maximum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter and a pull tension rating of 1.37 lbs maximum. Electrical characteristics include a voltage rating of 300V RMS, inductance of 0.08 µH/ft nominal, and conductor DC resistance of 65 O/1000ft at 20°C. This wire is ideal for internal wiring in electronic equipment, control circuits, and general hookup applications where compact gauge and reliable insulation are required, and it is RoHS 2 and China RoHS compliant.
