DESCRIPTION

The 86004CY-SL005 is a continuous flex data cable from Alpha Wire's Xtra-GuardÂ® series, engineered for data applications requiring high flexibility. It is constructed with four 28 AWG tinned copper conductors that are cabled with a minimum of 12 twists per foot. For superior noise immunity, the cable features a dual shield with an aluminum/Mylar tape and a tinned copper braid providing 90% coverage, plus a 26 AWG drain wire. The cable has a voltage rating of 300V and an operating temperature range of -10Â°C to 105Â°C (static). Its robust construction, including a durable slate PVC jacket that is sunlight and oil resistant, makes it ideal for industrial automation, robotics, and other demanding environments where continuous movement is present.
