DESCRIPTION

F221L3/16-BK004 is a heat shrinkable tubing product manufactured by Alpha Wire, constructed from LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) polyolefin material in black color. The tubing features a minimum supplied inner diameter of 0.187 inches, a maximum recovered inner diameter of 0.093 inches, and a nominal recovered wall thickness of 0.017 inches, with an approximate 2:1 shrink ratio. It meets UL Standard 224 with a temperature rating of 125°C at 600 VRMS and exhibits excellent mechanical properties including a minimum tensile strength of 1500 psi and minimum elongation of 200%. The product operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C, achieves full recovery at 110°C, and demonstrates superior performance in harsh environments with no cracking at low temperatures (-30°C) and heat shock conditions (250°C for 4 hours). This tubing is ideal for wire and cable insulation, electrical component protection, and applications requiring halogen-free, RoHS-compliant materials in industrial, automotive, and telecommunications equipment.
