DESCRIPTION

EC10E1220505 is a compact 10mm hollow shaft incremental rotary encoder designed for horizontal operation with a unique hollow shaft design enabling direct mounting on external shafts. The encoder features 12 pulses per revolution with 24 detent positions, a detent torque of 5 ± 3 mN·m, and a mount height of 7 mm, providing stable tactile feedback and precise position detection. It operates at a rated current of 1 mA at 5V DC with an operating life of 100,000 cycles and supports an extended automotive temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. This encoder is ideal for applications requiring compact, long-life rotational input devices such as audio equipment, industrial controls, and automotive interfaces where space constraints and reliability are critical.
