The AZ2280-1C-6DF is a 40 ampere miniature power relay manufactured by American Zettler, featuring a single Form C (SPDT) contact arrangement with quick-connect leads for both contacts and coil. This relay is rated for maximum switched power of 840W or 11,080VA with a maximum switched voltage of 277VAC or 28VDC, and delivers 20A switching current at 277VAC for general use applications. The relay operates with a 6V DC coil (must operate at 4.5V, maximum continuous 7.8V) with a nominal current of 150mA and coil resistance of 40 ohms, providing fast response times of 15ms maximum operate time and 10ms maximum release time.
