DESCRIPTION

The AZ8-1C-24DE is a miniature epoxy-sealed PC board relay manufactured by American Zettler, designed for low-power switching applications requiring subminiature form factor and high reliability. It features a 24 VDC nominal coil with 50 VDC maximum continuous rating, 1,280 O coil resistance (±10%), and must-operate voltage of 18 VDC. The relay provides 1 Form C (SPDT) contact arrangement rated for light-duty operation at 3A maximum switched current, 150 VDC or 300 VAC maximum switched voltage, and 100W or 600VA maximum switched power, with contact resistance less than 100 milliohms initially. It operates with 250 mW power consumption at pickup voltage, 5 ms operate time, and 2 ms release time at nominal coil voltage, and is rated for -55°C to 90°C ambient temperature (Class B insulation, 130°C maximum). The epoxy-sealed construction provides protection for automatic wave soldering, withstands 4 kV IEEE lightning surge, and achieves 1×107 mechanical life cycles and 3×105 electrical cycles at 3A/120VAC, making it suitable for industrial control, telecommunications, and consumer electronics applications.
