DESCRIPTION

The AZ8222-2C-12DSSE is a subminiature ultra-sensitive DPDT (2 Form C) DIP relay designed for low-power switching applications requiring compact board spacing and minimal coil power consumption. It features a 12 VDC nominal coil with 960 O coil resistance (±10%), 27.7 VDC maximum continuous voltage, and ultra-low 84 mW pickup power, enabling operation in power-constrained systems. The relay switches up to 2 A at 30 VDC or 1 A at 125 VAC with a maximum switching capacity of 60 W or 125 VA, utilizing silver nickel gold-plated bifurcated crossbar contacts with contact resistance below 100 mO. It operates across -40 °C to 85 °C ambient temperature, achieves 100 million mechanical operations and 100,000 electrical operations at 2 A/30 VDC, and meets FCC lightning surge (1500 V) and dielectric (1000 V) requirements. The relay fits standard 16-pin IC sockets, is epoxy sealed for automatic wave soldering, and is ideal for telecommunications, industrial control, and consumer electronics requiring reliable low-power switching in confined spaces.
